Want to join the Dough Girls family?
Our lovely Angie is off to university and we need someone to fill her shoes in either a part-time or full-time customer service role.
Full-time: The role is 5 days a week and you must be able to work weekends. The working hours will be for opening or closing shifts and the days will be fixed (Wednesday to Sunday). You’ll be able to enjoy days off every Monday and Tuesday.
Part-time: The working hours can be anywhere between 7:45 and 19:45 - Wednesday to Sunday. Please let us know your availability in your cover letter.
Under-18s are very welcome to apply if they can commit to at least 4 hours on a Saturday and/or Sunday.
We’ll give you full training but what we need is someone who’s positive, flexible and willing to get their hands dirty and help wherever needed. We really value someone who takes initiative and finds something to do without needing to be micromanaged. It’s not a difficult job, but it is customer service, and you do need to come to work each day with a smile and a great attitude. We’re looking for someone who would like to stay a while and grow in the role. There is heaps of room to advance if you’ve got the right stuff!
We prefer someone who can speak Danish (intermediate level). Kitchen and/or baking experience is very highly regarded. Trained baristas (or Tea sommeliers) are also highly regarded.
Serving customers in the shop, answering phone enquiries, and cleaning the cafe and toilet areas regularly
Setting up the shop in the morning and/or end of day cleaning: including cleaning the toilet, taking out rubbish and recycling, etc., and making sure we’re ready for the following day
Handling in-store and Wolt orders and making sure all are packed, secure, and ready on time
Making occasional deliveries in the immediate area by foot or bike
Occasionally helping to decorate and finish the doughnuts to a high standard
Let us get to know you! We want someone who will fit in and become a member of the family, so show us who you are, why you want to join us and what we can do for you!
Past applicants are welcome to apply.
Since we are getting a large number of applications - generic applications or emails with only a resume will not be considered. We want to get to know you and why you really want to work at Dough Girls - what makes you stand out from all the others and what can Dough Girls give you (that another job can't)?
To apply, please send your resume and a personalised cover letter to Pamela at firstname.lastname@example.org
